Popular YouTube vlogger Lloyd Cafe Cadena has passed away, September 4. He was 26 years old.
“It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the untimely demise of our beloved brother Lloyd Cafe Cadena. May he be remembered for all the joy and laughter he shared with everyone. My family and I ask for your prayers, respect, and privacy during this time.”, posted on his official Facebook Page.
The cause of his death was not mentioned. One of the pioneers of YouTube vlogging the Philippines, Lloyd Cafe Cadena started his channel back in 2011. The comical style and genuine humbleness caught the heart of the netizens.
As of this writing, Kween LC, as they call him by his fans, has over 5.29 million subscribers on YouTube, and over 6.5 million followers on Facebook.
Lloyd’s name immediately trended on Twitter as his fans, friends, and colleagues remember the beloved content creator, including his iconic lines “gusto mo yon? gusto ko yon!” and numerous clips of fun.
It was only 3 weeks, another well-loved Filipino YouTuber Emman Nimedez passed away.
