Popular Filipino vlogger Emman Nimedez revealed he is facing the greatest battle in his life this year. “Meron akong acute myeloid leukemia. Meron akong cancer”, he revealed in a 10-minute video.
“Kasabay ng paghataw ko dito sa internet eh yung madalas na pagka-admit ko sa ospital, dahil sa iba’t ibang bagay naman,” he said.
But lately, he had a fever that took long. At first they thought it was coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) but later turned out from a different disease.
“So ‘yun hinanap nila at na-track nga nila na nasa bone marrow siya. So noong kinuhanan ng samples ‘yung bone marrow ko, ayun lumabas kahapon sa results na mayroon akong acute myeloid leukemia. Mayroon akong cancer,” Nimedez said.
He also took the opportunity to thank his fans for his channel to reach 1 Million subscribers milestone. He unboxed his much-awaited YouTube Gold Play Button.
“Ang lahat ng ito ay ginawa ko sa platform na to sa loob ng 9 na taon. Dito ko na nakita sa Youtube ang kwenta ko sa pamamagitan ng mga kwento ko”, he said.
Nimedez is optimistic to face the challenge in his life. “Lahat ng ibabato sa tin na pagsubok kakayanin basta derecho lang tingin natin sa buhay tsaka positibo lang tayo.”
