Netizens mourn to the death of Joni Villanueva-Tugna, the Mayor of Bocaue, Bulacan, Thursday, May 28, her political party PDP-Laban confirmed. She died at St. Luke’s Hospital at Global City in Taguig.
Her name, “Mayor Joni” trended on Twitter as netizens send their sympathy to the loss of a beloved public servant of Bocaue. The reason of her hasn’t yet announced as of this writing.
Mayor Joni is a daughter of Jesus Is Lord Church Wordwide president-founder, Brother Eddie Villanueva, and sister of Senator Joel Villanueva. On May 24, Senator Joel Villanueva posted a series of tweets asking everyone to pray for miraculous healing touch of the Lord Jesus Christ to flow.
It was just last March when she mourns to the death of her mother, JIL Sister Adoracion “Dory” Villanueva. Sister Dory succumbed fatal arrhythmia secondary to septic shock.

Update: The Jesus is Lord Church sends their grief to the loss of the beloved mayor. Mayor Joni died because of sepsis secondary to bacterial pneumonia according to their tweet.
