In a short recorded video, Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso is caught signing piles of government papers inside his office in the Manila City Hall.
Also known as “Yorme”, the Manila mayor receives admiration from the netizens, especially Manilenos, on his Facebook Page post. The dedicated public servant is wearing an N95 mask in casual T-shirt and shorts while doing the government responsibility amidst the scare of COVID-19 coronavirus.
“Overworked under payed Mayor, very dedicated ka indeed how many hours do you sleep? The job won’t run away, but they keep on coming and piling up. Give time to yourself, I am a concerned fellow human to your well-being, may God guide you to your achievements and purpose in life to serve humanity.”, one netizen shares concern to the Mayor.
Prior to the video, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna are spotted buying disinfecting machines in prevention of Coronavirus in the city. The post mentioned that the two leaders of the Philippines capital city urged the public to don’t let the children go outside at this trying times. Moreover, City Government hospitals are alerted from time to time.
In addition to this post, the curfew is imposed from 8pm to 5am in the entire Metro Manila in one month starting Sunday, March 15.
