'The Hulk' Mark Ruffalo gives shoutout to the tsinelas action figure

Remember the Pinoy vendor who creates action figures out of tsinelas rubber scraps?

In addition to online and television exposures of Elmer Padilla’s works, the Hulk actor himself, Mark Ruffalo, found himself amazed to the flip-flop action figure version of the Marvel character he portrayed in the movie franchise. The climate change and renewable energy advocate Hollywood actor recognized Elmer’s eco-friendly recycled creations. He posted a shoutout to his official Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter account, with caption:

Believe it or not, this #Hulk doll is made out of recycled tsinelas (that’s tagalog for flip-flops). Elmer Padilla made this for me so I just wanted to give a nice shoutout. Not only is this inventively creative, but it’s sustainable and just pure awesome! Thank you Elmer!

Moreover, Elmer’s tsinelas action figures will be having its first exhibit in Warner Bros. Pop Expo.
