Remember the viral Ginebra fan who wrote an updated version of Gary Granada’s hit “Sana Manalo Ang Ginebra”? She has a new version again this year.
Now that the country’s favorite ball club is back in the finals, Maria Gracia Gonzales – Cadiz serenades her fellow Barangay fans with a 2017 version. Her video post immediately went viral, viewed over 1.3 million times and gathered more than 27, 500 shares. She also performed this brand new Kabarangay anthem during the halftime break of the Game 2 of PBA Finals last Sunday (October 15) at the Big Dome Araneta Coliseum.
Looks like her tribute song serves as a lucky charm for the BGSM as they grab the W, getting the 2-0 advantage in the series.
After winning the Governor’s Cup last year, the Barangay Ginebra is on a mission to bag the back to back title against again their last year’s foe, Meralco Bolts .
